We've got exciting things on the way!
We are the IEEE Computer Society at Birzeit University, and our main vision is to revolutionize student competitions at Birzeit University (BZU) with our idea of the “IEEE Leaderboard” system.
The IEEE Leaderboard aims to organize participants into different level groups and create a competitive environment for leaderboard placements.
From now on, Our main contest types will be: Ranked (Competitive) and Unranked (Casual). Students can level up their rank exclusively from Ranked competitions. Their progress is saved for future chapters, setting the foundation for organized and fair competition at BZU.
Contests are tailored to specific level groups, with high-leveled contests for high-ranking students and medium-leveled contests for medium-ranked students. and low-leveled contests for lower-level students. lower-level students can participate in higher-level contests if they wish, but high-level students participating in lower-level contests will be “Out of competition”. We will also host Mixed level contests that welcome all students from all levels.
Top students on the IEEE Leaderboard from each level category will receive prizes. They will also earn certificates at the end of each semester and be recognized as the top student from their specific level category for that semester and be listed on the front page of our leaderboard website, [www.IEEEleaderboard.com].
